GOOD QUESTIONS, CLEAR ANSWERS

Before you connect.

Accounts, access, reporting limits and the customer beta.

What is Rankavon?+

Rankavon is a search analytics workspace for Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster, with optional Google Analytics 4 and Chrome UX Report integrations. It turns provider data into reports you can review, export and save.

Can I try it before connecting my account?+

Yes. The interactive demo uses clearly labeled fictional data. It shows report layouts and calculations without requiring a login or accessing a real website.

Is Rankavon free?+

The current customer beta is free. No credit card is requested and no payment is taken. Paid subscriptions and background scheduling are not active.

How do I sign in?+

Use Sign in with Google. You then connect each search provider separately. Your Google or Bing permissions control which websites you can read.

Why might Google connection need setup?+

The application owner must configure Google OAuth and any required production verification. A Google application in Testing only permits its approved test accounts. Advanced users can configure their own OAuth Web application in Connections.

Does Rankavon edit my websites or request indexing?+

No. Current provider operations are read-only. URL Inspection reads stored provider information; it does not submit a URL, change a website or request indexing.

Can other customers see my reports?+

Your connections and saved records are private to your account. You can explicitly share one saved snapshot with a specific sign-in email. That grant expires after seven days and can be revoked.

Why do query totals differ from total impressions?+

Detail reports return up to 5,000 top rows and may omit anonymized or low-volume data. Aggregate totals and the sum of returned queries can therefore differ.

Are forecasts or experiments guarantees?+

No. Forecasts are trend-based scenarios. Experiments compare observational changes and do not establish causation or statistical significance. Review the methodology next to each report.

What do GA4 and Core Web Vitals require?+

GA4 requires separate read-only consent and enabled Google Analytics Admin and Data APIs. Core Web Vitals uses a Google Cloud key enabled for Chrome UX Report API, plus sufficient real-user field data.

Can I export my work?+

Report tables export to CSV and standalone HTML. You can save up to 500 rows in a report snapshot and share that snapshot with a client.

How do I remove my data?+

Delete individual saved records from the notebook, revoke shared reports, or use Delete my Rankavon data in Connections. Disconnect or revoke a provider separately to remove its permissions.
